Each original Monster is handmade by artisans at Rio Verde Studios 541 in Chandler, AZ.
These are a very unique type of monsters. While they can be mischievous, like stealing your heart away, they also have a heart for kindness, helpfulness, and a love for listening. They are working monsters born into our lives as coffee mugs,
pencil jars, tea lights, napkin holders, salt and pepper shakers, and more. They are playful and fun. Take a monster home as a new friend or give one as a gift. Our handmade originals are food safe, able to go into the microwave, dishwasher safe, and will bring a smile to your face. Please note: while we have made every effort to get the color of each monster spot on, they may be a bit different in real life. Sizes are also approximate.

About the Artists
Meet the Martin's
Married for over 49 years, the Martins have had a rich and adventures life together. Meeting at ASU, both had a passion for the arts. After they married, they created an art company called ARThorities which had 2 stores in the Phoenix Metro area and a wide network of wholesales affiliates such as Costco, Dillard’s, Army/Air Force and a variety of gifts and galleries through out the US. They sold the business after 16 years. (Kids have a way of changing your life.)
Going back into corporate life for a few years both were not getting the creative satisfaction that was needed to be at peace with themselves, so they went into teaching the arts along with creating their own art. Now their work is available through the internet, art fairs and galleries.
